  • Wyoming State Police: A trooper was placed on leave while he is being investigated for felony vandalism. No charges have been filed yet. ow.ly/5GnB309VEeC
  • Salt Lake City (Unified PD), Utah: An officer’ shooting of a fleeing suspect was ruled unjustified by the district attorney. The suspect suffered a shoulder wound and survived. No criminal charges will follow but the department is now conducting an internal investigation. ow.ly/hOnN309VIuy
  • Update: Knox County, Tennessee: An officer’s trial for child rape ended in mistrial after the jury deadlocked.  It is unclear whether the prosecutor wants to retry the case. ow.ly/fawy309VIWH
  • Clark County, Wisconsin: A deputy resigned in 2016 before he could be fired for abuse of authority and theft. This belated information came from a public records request.  ow.ly/jeqq309VJWw
  • Update: Cass County, North Dakota (First reported 07-11-16): A deputy pled to a lesser charge and resigned after his DUI arrest by a state trooper. ow.ly/UW6D309VKHY
  • Update: Cleveland, Ohio (First reported 05-23-16): A now-former officer pled guilty to tampering charges for a bar fight cover-up. As part of his plea deal, he will surrender his law enforcement certification. ow.ly/33UB309W9bW
  • Wichita, Kansas: An officer pled guilty to three counts of assault for pulling a gun at a birthday party while he was off duty. ow.ly/bwj7309Wa08
  • Update: Clear Lake, Iowa (First reported 12-05-16): A now-former officer agreed to plead guilty to domestic violence. He resigned in February. ow.ly/vUD1309Wazw
